🏎️ Could GP Explorer Work in MENA?
How a creator race in France could inspire the next big show in the region
Hey streamers, today let’s talk about GP Explorer 👇
When Formula 1: Drive to Survive came out on Netflix, it changed how people saw Formula 1, and it changed how I saw it too.
For me, Formula 1 was always part of Sundays at my grandparents’ house. The sound of the cars, the excitement, and sometimes the sadness. I still remember watching live when Ayrton Senna lost his life, a moment I’ll never forget.
More recently, I got to experience Formula 1 for real at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and it was amazing, the speed, the energy, the atmosphere.
For Squeezie, one of the most popular YouTubers in France, watching Drive to Survive gave him a crazy idea: what if creators could become real drivers for one race?
That idea became GP Explorer: a new type of event that mixes sport, streaming, and entertainment.
In today’s article, I’ll explain how it started, why it became so big, and if this kind of creator-led event could work in the MENA region 👇

So What? Could it work in MENA?
The event: What is GP Explorer?
GP Explorer is a motor-racing event created by the French YouTuber Squeezie.
The idea was simple: bring together some of the most popular online creators and train them to compete in a real Formula 4 race.
The result is a mix between motorsport, streaming and live entertainment, something we don’t see often in France or Europe.
The race takes place on the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans, one of France’s most iconic racetracks. What makes it different is not the cars or the format, but the people behind the wheel 👇
