Recent updates and trends in MENA FAST
This month, STARZ ON and Shahid are the only FAST platforms to introduce new channels, while also removing some from their lineup.
Here are the details of the new and dropped channels:
STARZ ON Removed 3 channels and added 5 new ones.
What’s interesting is that they’ve added channels like Asianet News and India Today TV to keep their audience informed about the Indian elections.
Shahid removed 2 channels and added 1 new one.
The new channel, RSL 2023-2024 Champions, offers highlights of the past season, adding significant value for users.
Weyyak removed 2 channels this month.
No changes to report from other platforms.
However, stay tuned with The Streaming Lab “FAST in MENA Series”, as we expect a new global FAST service to enter the MENA market very soon.
