😺 CJ ENM Launches its First AI-Made Animation
"Cat Biggie" could be what’s next for animation and AI | Streaming in Short – W27
This week, we cover CJ ENM new AI-created animation, Ligue 1 streaming service for football fans, and Dailymotion video ads you can talk to.
🐾 CJ ENM unveils ‘Cat Biggie,’ a 100% AI-generated animation
👉 Korean entertainment company CJ ENM just launched Cat Biggie, a new short animation series made entirely with AI.
📍 The company used its own smart AI tools to help with everything, from planning and writing to making 3D animation. These tools help speed up the work and come up with new show ideas.
💡 Cat Biggie was created by a small team in just 5 months and will be available on YouTube worldwide in July. CJ ENM says they plan to make more movies and shows using AI very soon.
🏟️ Ligue 1 launching its D2C streaming service, but faces distribution challenge
👉 France’s top football league, Ligue 1, is about to start its own streaming service so fans can watch games directly online. This is the first time a major European league has done this.
📍 Fans will be able to watch 8 games each matchday for €14.99 per month, which is much cheaper than before. The league hopes this will help them connect better with fans and bring in more money.
💡 But there’s a challenge: their deal with Canal+ didn’t work out, so Ligue 1 still needs to find more partners before the season starts on August 15. They are now talking to Amazon, Orange, and DAZN to help reach more viewers. Will their plan work out in time?
🗣️ Dailymotion launches EchoAI: video ads you can talk to
What happened?
👉 Dailymotion Advertising has just released EchoAI, a new type of video ad that lets people chat directly with the ad. Using smart AI, viewers can ask questions about products, look for special offers, or find the nearest store, without leaving the video.
Key details:
EchoAI makes ads interactive, not just something you watch. You can talk to them in over 20 languages.
This helps brands connect better with people and answer questions right away, making ads more useful.
EchoAI is now being tested in all Dailymotion Advertising markets.
Why it matters?
🎯 EchoAI changes advertising from brands talking at viewers to real conversations. For brands, it means better feedback and more personal connections. For viewers, it’s ads that finally listen and respond.
🇫🇷 PARTNERSHIP: Prime Video and France TV sign major streaming deal

This move makes it simpler for people to find French content they love. It also helps France Télévisions reach more viewers, while Prime Video gets even more great shows for its audience.
🇺🇸 SPINOFF: Squid Game hints at U.S. version
The final episode of Squid Game shows a surprise scene with actress Cate Blanchett as a recruiter in Los Angeles. This has fans guessing that the dangerous game could soon take place in America.
Lee Byung-hun, who plays the Front Man, says he acted surprised in the scene, which could mean the Game will go global. If a U.S. spinoff happens, the show might have new challenges with an American style, but it will still focus on how people act in extreme situations.
